Oklahoma Aquarium Association Meeting Minutes, December 10, 2005
The December 10, 2005 OKAA meeting/Christmas party was held at Dean and Cynthia's house in Norman. It started around 4pm and ended around 8pm. A bowl show was scheduled as well as a pot-luck dinner and monthly auction. The bowl show got off to a rough start with only a few entrants. Some of the attendants, which were shown in pairs, were Swordtails, Killifish, Anableps Anableps, Aphyosemion, Kuhli loach, Corydoras and neolamprologus multifasciatus. Dinner was served once everyone had arrived and settled in. We had a great time at the party with a lot of discussions over various subjects depending on what room you were sitting in. I think it's safe to say that Dean and Cynthia's display aquariums (a 125 and four 75's on display) packed with various cichlids, catfish, barbs and tetras were one of the main attractions. Once everyone was packed to the gills and moving slowly, Dean set us up a table for the auction and we had a nice short auction. The auction list is as follows:
