Meeting Minutes, August 12th, 2001
Oklahoma City Aquarium Association Minutes from August 12th Meeting Began meeting at 1 PM at the OKC Zoo Educ Bldg. 8 members were present with two guests, who subsequently joined, as well as the presenter Gene Gilliland. Presentation was to be presented by Gene Gililand of the Oklahoma Wildlife Department's Fisheries Division. Topic covered the details of pond destruction by invasive plants, many of which are quite common in the aquarium trade. He provided handouts to go with the powerpoint presentation on both plant and fish species thought to be invasive. Club business and announcements included: Appointment of Lee Gans as club Treasurer and Bailin Shaw as Newsletter Exchange Editor. Discussion of Membership cards which Noel Cote is presently working on. Announcement of next Executive Committee meeting to be held next Sunday. Presentation commenced and question and answer session followed. Next meeting is set for September 9th. Our next newsletter will be available at that meeting. Joe Anderson
