Agenda: Election of Officers and Welcoming of new members Members in Attendance:

Welcomed new members Brad and Lee. Welcomed prospective members Jason and Angela Passed out interest surveys to return for door prize eligibility. Discussed options for fundraising, community involvement and activities. These included working a pledge drive for OETA public television, Myriad Gardens horticultural project, and OKC Zoo Aquaticus program tour. Other activities discussed were a Fall Auction and Fish show. Discussed May 31st membership drive at N. May PetsMart and preparations for such. Handed out descriptions of offices and committee positions and went over each item. Took volunteers and nominations for committee and officer positions. Took nomination for Donna Vantreese as Treasurer with second. Motion passed unanimously and was accepted by membership. Took motion for Sean and Ramey Furney as Newsletter Chairpersons with a second. Motion passed unanimously and was accepted by membership. Motion was made to appoint Ken and Sean to Fundrasing Committee. Membership accepted. Motion was made to set annual membership dues at $12.00 for individuals and $15.00 for couples. Motion was accepted and passed. Set tenative due date for payment as April 1st. Discussed plans for moving meeting days to Sundays. Membership discussed and accepted change. Next meeting set for Sunday March 11th. Distributed door prizes. Brad Newton drew winning # and received two "large" pond goldfish. The remaining prizes (a variety of plant clippings went to members present). Adjourned meeting. Next meeting set for Sunday, March 11th, at Joe Anderson's apartment from 12:30 - 1:30.
