I've been keeping fish off and on for probably 10 years or so. My favorites are my fancy goldfish. I also keep Endler's Livebearers, Angels, Bettas, a clown pleco, a stowaway killifish who came in as an egg on some plants, zebra danios, skirt tetras, along with various types of snails and shrimp. All my tanks are planted and I have several natural planted tanks set up per Diana Walstad's method. I'm currently webmaster for OKAA and run an online Goldfish and Aquarium Board. Also, check out my aquarium pages and my other more recent pics on photobucket. I'm also into culturing live foods for my fish and also make homemade gel food (they eat better than I do!).
The DIY plant filter/trickle tower filter on the goldie tank.
My 125 gallon natural planted tank.
A pic of some Endler's Livebearers. More pics are here and here.
The Angels who spawn every couple of weeks. So far, no fry.
The 20 tall Walstad-type natural planted tank with Swordtails and various snails (ramshorn, pond and MTS). Plants include dwarf sag, vals, an ozelot sword and some other unknown sword. Lighting is two 20 watt spiral fluorescent 6500K bulbs, plus the tank is by a south window. Filtration is a penguin 140 powerhead with a foam prefilter.
